SVTC Saturday Swims at the YMCA!

COVID protocols:
Lane usage is restricted to 1 person per lane with a few exceptions:
1) Members of the same household can share a lane
2) Y members who are comfortable sharing can swim 2 people to a lane
3) Competitive swimmers can swim 4-6 in a lane provided they are following USA Swimming Guidelines and maintain 6ft distance when stopped

USA Swimming states that swimmers would start/stop at opposite ends of thelane; no more than 2 on the wall at a time. (the 5th-6th person would stop underthe flags)

Alternating sets/breaks is recommended

SVTC members who are not Y members will need to pass the health screen upon entering the Y, sign in, and also present their photo ID. The employee at the Service Desk will enter them into the computer as a program member and take their picture for future check-ins, and may also give them a “program card” to present for future swims. The program card would be valid at both the Davis and Central YMCA’s but only during the specified swim time for SVTC.
